machine translationYūnus b. ʿUbayd narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Sālim b. Nūḥ narrated it from Yūnus b. ʿUbayd, from Ibn Sīrīn, from Abū Hurayrah, who said: "We were forbidden thus." Muḥammad b. Mirdās said this from Sālim, while others said from Sālim, from Yūnus, from Muḥammad, from Anas, who said: "We were forbidden." There is also disagreement about al-Thawrī. It was said from him, from Yūnus, from Muḥammad, from Anas: "We were forbidden." Isḥāq al-Ḥunaynī said from al-Thawrī: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade." Hushaym said from Yūnus, from Anas b. Sīrīn, and there is disagreement about Hushaym. Abū Hammām Muḥammad b. al-Zibriqān said from Yūnus, from al-Ḥasan, from Anas: "We were forbidden." Abū ʿUmārah al-Rāzī, Yaʿqūb b. Isḥāq, said from Yūnus, from al-Ḥasan, from Anas: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade," and he added some wording to it. Abū Isḥāq al-Fazārī said from Yūnus, from al-Ḥasan and Muḥammad, so he held both versions to be sound. The statement of the one who said "from Abū Hurayrah" is an error.
