Ibn Abī Dhiʾb also narrated it from al-Zuhrī, and there is disagreement about him. Maʿn b. ʿĪsā, Abū Aḥmad al-Zubayrī, Ḥammād b. Khālid al-Khayyāṭ and others narrated it from Ibn Abī Dhiʾb, from al-Zuhrī, from Abū Salamah, from his father, as a statement of the Companion (mawqūf). Abū Muʿāwiyah al-Ḍarīr differed from them: he narrated it from Ibn Abī Dhiʾb, from al-Zuhrī, from Ḥumayd b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, from his father, as mawqūf.
