machine translationThe narration of "fifteen" is weak (ḍaʿīf) and mursal.

    in سنن النسائي, p. 1454
  • Ibn Ḥajar al-ʿAsqalānī

machine translationAl-Nawawī declared it weak (ḍaʿīf) in al-Khulāṣah, but that is not sound, because its narrators are trustworthy (thiqāt) and Ibn Isḥāq was not alone in transmitting it. Al-Nasāʾī reported it through the narration of ʿIrāk b. Mālik from ʿUbaydullāh in the same way, so it is authentic (ṣaḥīḥ).

    in سنن النسائي, p. 1454
