أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

مَرَّ رَجُلٌ بِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «بِئْسَ عَبْدُ اللهِ وَأَخُو الْعَشَيْرَةِ» ثُمَّ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ فَرَأَيْتُهُ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْهِ بِوَجْهِهِ كَأَنَّ لَهُ عِنْدَهُ مَنْزِلَةً

Translation

✧ A man passed by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: "What an evil servant of Allah and brother of the clan." Then the man entered upon him, and I saw him turn to him with his face as if he had a high standing with him.
