✧ What to say when someone sneezes

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْعُطَاسُ مِنَ اللهِ وَالتَّثَاؤُبُ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ فَإِذَا عَطَسَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَحْمَدِ اللهُ وَحَقَّ عَلَى كُلِّ مَنْ سَمِعَهُ أَنْ يَقُولَ يَرْحَمُكُمُ اللهُ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Sneezing is from Allah, and yawning is from Satan. When one of you sneezes, let him praise Allah, and it is a duty upon everyone who hears him to say: ‘May Allah have mercy on you all.’”
