أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى هُوَ ابْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ سَعْدٍ قَالَ

جَمَعَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَبَوَيْهِ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ قَالَ «ارْمِ فِدَاكَ أَبِي وَأُمِّي» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَهَذَا الصَّوَابُ عِنْدَنَا وَحَدِيثُ سُفْيَانَ خَطَأٌ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ combined for me his parents on the day of Uhud. He said, 'Shoot, may my father and mother be your ransom.' Abu 'Abd al-Rahman said, 'This is what is correct according to us, and the hadith of Sufyan is an error, and God knows best.'
