أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ

قَالَ سَعْدٌ لَقَدْ جَمَعَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ أَبَوَيْهِ كِلَيْهِمَا يُرِيدُ حِينَ قَالَ «فِدَاكَ أَبِي وَأُمِّي» وَهُوَ يُقَاتِلُ

Translation

✧ Sa'd said, 'The Messenger of God ﷺ combined for me on the day of Uhud both of his parents,' referring to when he said, 'May my father and mother be your ransom,' while he was fighting.
