أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَرَجَ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ حِينَ صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ وَجُوَيْرِيَةُ جَالِسَةٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ حِينَ تَعَالَى النَّهَارُ فَقَالَ «لَمْ تَزَالِي فِي مَجْلِسِكَ؟» قَالَتْ نَعَمْ قَالَ لَقَدْ قُلْتُ أَرْبَعَ كَلِمَاتٍ ثُمَّ رَدَّدْتُهَا ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ لَوْ وُزِنَتْ بِمَا قُلْتِ لَوَزَنَتْهَا سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ وَرِضَى نَفْسِهِ وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ went out of his house after praying the morning prayer while Juwayriyyah was sitting in the mosque. Then he returned when the day had advanced, and he said: “Have you remained in your sitting place?” She said: Yes. He said: “I have uttered four words, then repeated them three times; if they were weighed against what you have said, they would outweigh it: 'Glory be to Allah and with His praise, and there is no god but Allah, (as many as) the number of His creation, and the pleasure of Himself, and the weight of His throne, and the ink of His words.'”
