أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أصْبَغُ بْنُ فَرَجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِلَالٍ أَنَّ يَحْيَى بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ نَسِيرُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا فِي الْوَادِي يَقُولُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ لَا يَشْهَدُ بِهَا أَحَدٌ إِلَّا بَرِئَ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ»

✧ While we were traveling with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he heard a man in the valley saying: "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "And I bear witness. No one bears witness to it but that he is free from polytheism."
