أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا سَمِعْتُمُ الْمُنَادِيَ فَقُولُوا مِثْلَ مَا يَقُولُ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الصَّوَابُ حَدِيثُ مَالِكٍ وَحَدِيثُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ خَطَأٌ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا يُقَالُ لَهُ عَبَّادُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ وَهُوَ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ يَرْوِي عَنْهُ جَمَاعَةٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفُ الْحَدِيثِ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When you hear the caller, say the like of what he says." Abu 'Abd al-Rahman said: The correct version is the hadith of Malik, and the hadith of 'Abd al-Rahman b. Ishaq is a mistake. And this 'Abd al-Rahman is called 'Abbad b. Ishaq, and he is acceptable. And 'Abd al-Rahman b. Ishaq has a group of the people of Kufah narrating from him, and he is weak in hadith. And Allah knows best.
