أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ إِذَا أَمْسَى «أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَسُوءِ الْكِبَرِ وَفِتْنَةٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَعَذَابٍ فِي النَّارِ وَإِذَا أَصْبَحَ قَالَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ» وَزَادَ فِيهِ زُبَيْدٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَرْفَعُهُ قَالَ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

✧ From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that when evening came he would say: 'We have entered the evening and the dominion belongs to Allah, and praise be to Allah. There is no deity except Allah alone with no partner. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from cowardice, miserliness, evil of old age, trial in this world, and punishment in the Fire.' And when morning came he would say the same. Zubayd added in it from Ibrahim b. Suwayd from 'Abd al-Rahman b. Yazid from 'Abd Allah, raising it: 'He said: Alone with no partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is over all things capable.'
