أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حُجَيْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَعَا سَلْمَانَ الْخَيْرِ فَقَالَ إنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَمْنَحَكَ كَلِمَاتٍ تَسْأَلُهُنَّ الرَّحْمَنَ وَتَرْغَبُ إِلَيْهِ فِيهِنَّ وَتَدْعُو بِهِنَّ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ قُلِ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ صِحَّةً فِي إِيمَانٍ وَإِيمَانًا فِي خُلُقٍ حَسَنٍ وَنَجَاحًا يَتْبَعُهُ فَلَاحٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ مِنْكَ وَعَافِيَةً وَمَغْفِرَةً مِنْكَ وَرِضْوَانًا

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ called Salman al-Khayr and said: 'The Prophet of Allah wishes to grant you some words with which you ask the Most Merciful, desire Him through them, and supplicate with them night and day. Say: O Allah, I ask You for soundness in faith, and faith in good character, and success followed by prosperity, and mercy from You, and well-being, and forgiveness from You, and good pleasure.'
