أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ فِي قُبَّةٍ حَمْرَاءَ فِي نَحْوِ مِنْ أَرْبَعِينَ رَجُلًا فَقَالَ «إِنَّكُمْ مَفْتُوحٌ عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَنْصُورُونَ فَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ مِنْكُمْ فَلْيَتَّقِ اللهَ وَلْيَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَلْيَنْهَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَلْيَصِلَ رَحِمَهُ»

✧ I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was in a red dome with about forty men. He said: 'You will be granted victory and given conquests. Whoever of you lives to see that, let him fear Allah, enjoin what is good, forbid what is evil, and maintain ties of kinship.'
