أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَاللَّفْظُ لِإِسْحَاقَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ يُخْبِرُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَقَدْ اسْتَتَرْتُ بِقِرَامٍ فِيهِ تَمَاثِيلُ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ تَلَوَّنَ وَجْهُهُ ثُمَّ هَتَكَهُ بِيَدِهِ وَقَالَ «إِنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الَّذِينَ يُشَبِّهُونَ بِخَلْقِ اللهِ» 9694 أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِذَلِكَ وَقَالَتْ قَطَّعْنَاهُ فَجَعَلْنَا مِنْهُ وِسَادَةً أَوْ وِسَادَتَيْنِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me while I had screened myself with a curtain containing images. When he saw it, his face changed color, then he tore it with his hand and said, “The people who will be most severely punished on the Day of Resurrection are those who imitate the creation of Allah.” (9694) Ishaq b. Ibrahim informed us: Sufyan informed us, from Abd al-Rahman b. al-Qasim, from his father, from Aishah, likewise, and she said, “We cut it up and made from it a cushion or two cushions.”
