أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ مَوْلَى الْحُرَقَةِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِزْرَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِلَى أَنْصَافِ سَاقَيْهِ فَمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ إِلَى فَوْقِ الْكَعْبَيْنِ فَمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَفِي النَّارِ»

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The izar of the believer is to the middle of his shins. Whatever is below that up to the ankles, then whatever is below that is in the Fire.”
