أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ أَنَّ عَطَاءَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ حَدَّثَهُمْ قَالَ

حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّهُ لَا تُقْبَلُ صَلَاةُ رَجُلٍ مُسْبِلٍ إِزَارَهُ»

✧ A man from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ narrated to me, saying: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Indeed, the prayer of a man who lets his izar hang low is not accepted.”
