✧ He said: O Messenger of Allah, we are a people from the desert, so we would like you to teach us a deed by which Allah may benefit us. He said: "Do not belittle any act of kindness, even if it is that you pour from your bucket into the vessel of one asking for water, or that you speak to your brother with a cheerful face toward him. And beware of letting the izār hang low, for it is from pride, and Allah does not love pride. And if a man reviles you for what he knows about you, do not revile him for what you know about him, for then the reward of that will be for you, and its burden upon him."
