أَخْبَرَنِي هِلَالُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ
أَنَّهَا جَعَلَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ بُرْدَةً سَوْدَاءَ فَذَكَرَ سَوَادَهَا وَبَيَاضَهُ فَلَبِسَهَا فَلَمَّا عَرِقَ فَوَجَدَ رِيحَ الصُّوفِ قَذَفَهَا وَكَانَ يُحِبُّ الرِّيحَ الطِّيبَ أَرْسَلَهُ هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ
Translation

✧ She made a black burdah for the Prophet ﷺ. He mentioned its blackness and his own whiteness. He wore it, and when he sweated, he smelled the odor of wool and threw it off. He loved pleasant scents. Hishām al-Dastawā'ī transmitted it as mursal.
