أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ بَقِيَّةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّبَيْدِيُّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ رَأَى عَلَى أُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ ابْنَةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بُرْدَ سِيَرَاءَ وَالسِّيَرَاءُ الْمُضَلَّعُ بِالْقَزِّ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَهَذَا أَوْلَى بِالصَّوَابِ الَّذِي قَبْلَهُ وَبِاللهِ التَّوْفِيقُ

Translation

Chain of narrators

  5. Anas b. Mālik

✧ He narrated to him that he saw on Umm Kulthum, the daughter of the Prophet ﷺ, a striped silk burdah. And siyara' is the garment with silk ribbing. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: This is more likely to be correct than the one before it, and with Allah is success.
