أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعُمَرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَأَى فِي يَدِ رَجُلٍ خَاتَمًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَضَرَبَ إِصْبَعَهُ بِقَضِيبٍ كَانَ مَعَهُ حَتَّى رَمَى بِهِ» 9441 أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَرْكَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مُرْسَلٌ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَهَذَا الْمُرْسَلُ أَوْلَى بِالصَّوَابِ

✧ "The Prophet ﷺ saw a gold ring on a man's hand, so he struck his finger with a stick he had until he threw it away." 9441 Abu Bakr Ahmad b. Ali al-Marwazi informed me, he said: al-Warkani narrated to us, he said: Ibrahim b. Sa'd narrated to us, from Ibn Shihab, that the Prophet ﷺ, mursal. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: This mursal is more correct.
