أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ

عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ سَمِعَهُ مِنْ عَلِيٍّ يَقُولُ «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ حَلْقَةِ الذَّهَبِ وَعَنِ الْمِيثَرَةِ الْحَمْرَاءِ وَعَنِ الثِّيَابِ الْقَسِّيَّةِ وَعَنِ الْجِعَةِ» شَرَابٌ يُصْنَعُ مِنَ الشَّعِيرِ وَالْحِنْطَةِ فَذَكَرَ مِنْ شِدَّتِهِ خَالَفَهُ عَمَّارُ بْنُ رُزَيْقٍ رَوَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ صَعْصَعَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ

Translation

✧ From Hubayra, who heard it from Ali, saying: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade gold rings, red saddlecloths, qassi garments, and barley drink' - a drink made from barley and wheat, and he mentioned its strength. Ammar b. Ruzayq differed from him; he narrated it from Abu Ishaq, from Sa'sa'a, from Ali.
