al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 9363

✧ The prohibition for women to attend prayer when affected by a strong scent.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِشَامِ بْنِ عِيسَى الْبَغْدَادِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَلْقَمَةَ الْفَرْوِيُّ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ خُصَيْفَةَ عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ أَصَابَتْ بَخُورًا فَلَا تَشْهَدْ مَعَنَا الْعِشَاءَ الْآخِرَةَ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ لَا نَعْلَمُ أَنَّ أَحَدًا تَابَعَ يَزِيدَ بْنَ خُصَيْفَةَ عَلَى قَوْلِهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَقَدْ خَالَفَهُ يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ رَوَاهُ عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ الثَّقَفِيَّةِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Any woman who has been affected by incense should not attend the last evening prayer with us." Abu Abd al-Rahman said, "We do not know of anyone who followed Yazid b. Khusayfah in his statement from Abu Hurayrah. Ya'qub b. Abd Allah b. al-Ashajj disagreed with him; he narrated it from Busr b. Sa'id from Zaynab al-Thaqafiyyah."
