أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَبَلَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الشُّؤْمُ فِي ثَلَاثَةٍ فِي الْمَسْكَنِ وَالْفَرَسِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ

Translation

Chain of narrators

  2. ʿAbdullāh b. Jaʿfar

  5. al-Zuhrī
  6. Ḥamzah b. ʿAbdullāh from his father

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: “Ill omen is in three things: the dwelling, the horse, and the woman.”
