أَخْبَرَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «تَوَضَّأَ فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ تَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ مِنْ غَرْفَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ وَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ مَرَّةً وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَأُذُنَيْهِ مَرَّةً» قَالَ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ وَأَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَجْلَانَ يَقُولُ فِي ذَلِكَ وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ

✧ I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform ablution: he washed his hands, then rinsed his mouth and sniffed water into his nose from one handful, washed his face, washed his hands once, and wiped his head and his ears once. ‘Abd al-‘Aziz said: And someone who heard Ibn ‘Ajlan say in this report told me that he also washed his feet.
