أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ بَكْرَ بْنَ سَوَادَةَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ حَدَّثَهُ
أَنَّ نَفَرًا مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ دَخَلُوا عَلَى أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ فَدَخَلَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَهِيَ تَحْتَهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَكَرِهَ ذَلِكَ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «إِنِّي لَمْ أَرَ إِلَّا خَيْرًا» فَقَالَ «إِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ بَرَّأَهَا مِنْ ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ قَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ» فَقَالَ «لَا يَدْخُلَنَّ رَجُلٌ بَعْدَ يَوْمِي هَذَا عَلَى مُغِيبَةٍ إِلَّا وَمَعَهُ رَجُلٌ أَوْ رَجُلَانِ»

✧ Some men from Banu Hashim entered upon Asma’ bt. Umays while Abu Bakr, who was her husband at that time, entered and disapproved of that. He mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: “I saw nothing but good.” Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood on the pulpit and said: “After this day of mine, no man should enter upon a woman whose husband is absent unless he has with him one or two men.”
