أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مُزَاحِمِ بْنِ زُفَرَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «دِينَارٌ أَنْفِقْتَهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَدِينَارٌ فِي الْمَسَاكِينِ وَدِينَارٌ عَلَى أَهْلِكَ وَدِينَارٌ فِي الرِّقَابِ وَدِينَارٌ فِي نَسِيَهُ يَحْيَى أَفْضَلُهَا دِينَارًا دِينَارٌ أَنْفَقْتَهُ عَلَى أَهْلِكَ»

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "A dinar you spend in the cause of Allah, a dinar on the poor, a dinar on your family, a dinar on freeing slaves, and a dinar on..." Yahya forgot: "The best of them is a dinar you spend on your family."
