أَخْبَرَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «نِسَاءُ قُرَيْشٍ خَيْرُ نِسَاءٍ رَكِبْنَ الْإِبِلَ أَحْنَاهُ عَلَى طِفْلٍ وَأَرْعَاهُ عَلَى زَوْجٍ فِي ذَاتِ يَدِهِ» قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ «وَلَمْ تَرْكَبْ مَرْيَمُ بِنْتُ عِمْرَانَ بَعِيرًا قَطُّ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “The women of Quraysh are the best women to ever ride camels: they are the most compassionate toward a child and the most protective of a husband’s property.” Abu Hurayrah said: “Maryam bt. ʿImran never rode a camel at all.”
