أَخْبَرَنِي الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الطَّالْقَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ

سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْعَزْلِ فَقَالَ «لَا عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ لَا تَفْعَلُوهُ فَإِنَّهُ مَا مِنْ نَسَمَةٍ تُقْضَى أَنْ تَكُونَ إِلَّا وَهِيَ كَائِنَةٌ» قَالَ حَمْزَةُ هُوَ خَطَأٌ خَالَفَهُ مَعْمَرٌ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about isolation, and he said, "It is not necessary for you not to do it, for there is no soul that is decreed to exist except that it is already in existence." Hamza said, "It is a mistake that Ma'mar contradicted."
