أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَحْوَلُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَمْرَو بْنَ دِينَارٍ يَسْأَلُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَزْلِ النِّسَاءِ فَقَالَ زَعَمَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ إِنَّ لِي أمَةً وَإِنِّي أَعْزِلُهَا وَلَا أَعْزِلُهَا إِلَّا خَشْيَةَ الْوَلَدِ وَزَعَمَتْ يَهُودُ أَنَّهَا الْمَوْءُودَةُ الصُّغْرَى فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «كَذَبَتْ يَهُودُ كَذَبَتْ يَهُودُ» فَسَأَلْتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ أَسَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ لَا وَلَكِنْ أَخْبَرَنِي عَنْهُ رَجُلٌ

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Prophet of Allah, I have a slave woman, and I practice coitus interruptus with her, and I do so only out of fear of a child. The Jews claim that it is the lesser buried alive." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Jews have lied, the Jews have lied." I asked Abu Salamah, "Did you hear it from Abu Sa'id?" He said, "No, but a man informed me from him."
