أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ عُمَرَ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «أَيَنَامُ أَحَدُنَا وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ؟» قَالَ «نَعَمْ وَيَتَوَضَّأُ»

Translation

✧ That Umar asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, “May one of us sleep while he is junub?” He said, “Yes, and let him perform wudu.”
