أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ حَدَّثَهُ

أَنَّ عُمَرَ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «أَيَرْقُدُ أَحَدُنَا وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ؟» قَالَ «نَعَمْ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ»

Translation

  5. ʿAbdullāh

'Umar bin Khattab said to the Messenger of Allah: "can anyone of us sleep if he is sexually impure?" He said: "Yes, if he performs ablution." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 585)
