أَخْبَرَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْحِمْصِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَامٍ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ حِطَّانَ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ طَلْقٍ

أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «إِنَّا نَكُونُ بِهَذِهِ الْبَادِيَةِ وَإِنَّهُ تَكُونُ مِنْ أَحَدِنَا الرُّوَيْحَةُ وَفِي الْمَاءِ قِلَّةٌ» فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِذَا فَسَا أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ وَلَا تَأْتُوا النِّسَاءَ فِي أَدْبَارِهِنَّ فَإِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَسْتَحْيِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ»

✧ A Bedouin came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "We are in this desert, and one of us may break wind with a slight odor, and water is scarce." The Prophet ﷺ said: "If one of you breaks wind, let him perform ablution, and do not come to women in their backsides, for God is not ashamed of the truth."
