al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 8905

✧ The permissibility of a man allowing his wife to look at the game.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ سَمِعْنَاهُ مِنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَتْ

عَائِشَةُ كَانَ الْحَبَشُ يَلْعَبُونَ بِحِرَابٍ لَهُمْ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَجَعَلْتُ أَنْظُرُ بَيْنَ أُذُنِهِ وَعَاتِقِهِ حَتَّى كُنْتُ أَنَا الَّتِي صَدَرْتُ

Translation

✧ Aisha, the Abyssinians used to play with a bow and arrow that they had. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up, and I was looking between his ear and shoulder until I was the one who saw it.
