✧ About the illness of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, she said: He became ill and began to spit, and we used to liken his spitting to the spitting of one who eats raisins. He used to go around to his wives. When the illness became severe, he asked their permission to be nursed in my house and for them to visit him, and they permitted him. He entered upon me, leaning on two men, his feet dragging lines on the ground. One of them was al-'Abbas. I mentioned that to Ibn 'Abbas, and he said: 'Did she not tell you who the other was?' I said: 'No.' He said: 'He was 'Ali.'
