✧ The Warning for Those Who Invoke the Ignorant Claims

أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سَلَامٍ أَنَّ أَخَاهُ زَيْدُ بْنُ سَلَامٍ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَبِي سَلَامٍ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَارِثُ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ دَعَا بِدَعْوَى الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ جُثَا جَهَنَّمَ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَإِنْ صَامَ وَصَلَّى قَالَ «نَعَمْ وَإِنْ صَامَ وَصَلَّى فَادْعُوا بِدَعْوَةِ اللهِ الَّتِي سَمَّاكُمُ اللهُ بِهَا الْمُسْلِمِينَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عِبَادَ اللهِ»

✧ From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said: “Whoever calls with the call of the pre-Islamic era, he is among the heaps of Hell.” A man said: “O Messenger of Allah, even if he fasts and prays?” He said: “Yes, even if he fasts and prays. So call with the call of Allah, by which Allah has named you: the Muslims, the believers, the servants of Allah.”
