أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَنْظَلَةُ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ §كَانَ أَبِي إِذَا رَأَى رَجُلًا وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ السَّفَرَ قَالَ
ادْنُهُ حَتَّى أُوَدِّعَكَ بِمَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُوَدِّعُنَا ثُمَّ يَقُولُ اسْتَوْدِعِ اللهَ دِينَكَ وَأَمَانَتَكَ وَخَوَاتِيمَ عَمَلِكَ
Translation

✧ Come close so that I may bid you farewell as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to bid us farewell, then he would say: 'I entrust to Allah your religion, your trusts, and the last of your deeds.'
