✧ Traveling with the Quran to the land of the enemy

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يُنْهَى أَنْ يُسَافَرَ بِالْقُرْآنِ إِلَى أَرْضِ الْعَدُوِّ يُخَافُ أَنْ يَنَالَهُ الْعَدُوُّ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ used to forbid that the Quran be traveled with to the land of the enemy, fearing that the enemy might get hold of it.
