✧ Whoever saves a person and then kills them

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ قُرَّةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ وَأَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَامِرُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَمِقِ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا اطْمَأَنَّ الرَّجُلُ إِلَى الرَّجُلِ ثُمَّ قَتَلَهُ رُفِعَ لَهُ لِوَاءُ غَدْرٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ» وَاللَّفْظُ لِيَعْقُوبَ

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "When a man trusts another and then kills him, a banner of treachery will be raised for him on the Day of Resurrection." And the wording is that of Ya'qub.
