أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ وَأَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ عَامِرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَى الله عَنْهُ» اللَّفْظُ لِيُوسُفَ

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "The Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe, and the emigrant is one who emigrates away from what Allah has forbidden." The wording is that of Yusuf.
