✧ The reward for those who fight them.

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدَةَ قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ §لَوْلَا

أَنْ تَبْطَرُوا لَأَنْبَأْتُكُمْ مَا وَعَدَ اللهُ الَّذِينَ يَقْتُلُونَهُمْ عَلَى لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «إِي وَرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ إِي وَرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ إِي وَرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ»

Translation

✧ Were it not that you would become arrogant, I would inform you of what Allah has promised those who kill them on the tongue of Muhammad ﷺ. I said, "Did you hear it from the Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Yes, by the Lord of the Kaaba, yes, by the Lord of the Kaaba, yes, by the Lord of the Kaaba."
