✧ Prophet's saying ﷺ : "A rogue faction will emerge among the people, and their killing will be more deserving of being killed

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ وَاصِلِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَاضِرُ بْنُ الْمُوَرِّعِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَجْلَحُ عَنْ حَبِيبٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الضَّحَّاكَ الْمَشْرِقِيَّ يُحَدِّثُهُمْ وَمَعَهُمْ سَعِيدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ وَمَيْمُونُ بْنُ أَبِي شَبِيبٍ وَأَبُو الْبَخْتَرِيِّ وَأَبُو صَالِحٍ وَذَرٌّ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ وَالْحَسَنُ الْعُرَنِيُّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ يَرْوِي

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي «قَوْمٍ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ فَذَكَرَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِمْ وَزَكَاتِهِمْ وَصَوْمِهِمْ يَمْرُقُونَ مِنَ الْإِسْلَامِ كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهْمُ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ لَا يُجَاوِزُ الْقُرْآنُ تَرَاقِيَهُمْ يَخْرُجُونَ فِي فِرْقَةٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ يُقَاتِلُهُمْ أَقْرَبُ النَّاسِ إِلَى الْحَقِّ»

✧ From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, concerning “a people who will emerge from this ummah”—then he mentioned their prayer, their zakah, and their fasting—“they will pass out of Islam as an arrow passes out of the game. The Qur’an will not go beyond their collarbones. They will emerge among a faction of people; the people closest to the truth will fight them.”
