أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نُعْمٍ قَالَ §كُنْتُ عِنْدَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَأَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ دَمِ الْبَعُوضِ يَكُونُ فِي ثَوْبِهِ أَيُصَلِّي بِهِ؟ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ «مِمَّنْ أَنْتَ؟» قَالَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ قَالَ «مَنْ يَعْذُرُنِي مِنْ هَذَا يَسْأَلُنِي

عَنْ دَمِ الْبَعُوضِ وَقَدْ قَتَلُوا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟» سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «هُمَا رَيْحَانَتَيَّ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا»

✧ Regarding the blood of a mosquito, and they have killed the son of the Messenger of God ﷺ?" I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: "They are my two fragrant flowers in this worldly life."
