أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ أَبَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ يُثَيْعٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ يَقُولُ عَلَى مِنْبَرِ الْكُوفَةِ إِنِّي مُنْشِدٌ اللهَ رَجُلًا وَلَا أَنْشُدُ إِلَّا أَصْحَابَ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ مَنْ
سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ يَوْمَ غَدِيرٍ خُمٍّ «مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ فَعَلِيٌّ مَوْلَاهُ اللهُمَّ وَالِ مَنْ وَالَاهُ وَعَادِ مَنْ عَادَاهُ؟» فَقَامَ سِتَّةٌ مِنْ جَانِبِ الْمِنْبَرِ وَسِتَّةٌ مِنَ الْجَانِبِ الْآخَرِ فَشَهِدُوا أَنَّهُمْ سَمِعُوا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ قَالَ شَرِيكٌ فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي إِسْحَاقَ هَلْ سَمِعْتَ الْبَرَاءَ بْنَ عَازِبٍ يُحَدِّثُ بِهَذَا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ»

✧ He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say on the day of Ghadir Khumm: "Whoever I am his mawla, Ali is his mawla. O Allah, befriend whoever befriends him and be hostile to whoever is hostile to him." Then six people from one side of the pulpit and six from the other side stood up and testified that they heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say that. Sharik said: I said to Abu Ishaq, "Did you hear al-Bara' b. 'Azib narrate this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" He said, "Yes."
