أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ
بَعَثَنِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِلَى الْيَمَنِ وَأَنَا شَابٌّ حَدِيثُ السِّنِّ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ «إِنَّكَ بَعَثَتْنِي إِلَى قَوْمٍ يَكُونُ بَيْنَهُمْ أَحْدَاثٌ وَأَنَا شَابٌّ حَدِيثُ السِّنِّ» قَالَ «إِنَّ اللهَ سَيَهْدِي قَلْبَكَ وَيُثَبِّتُ لِسَانَكَ فَمَا شَكَكْتُ فِي قَضَاءٍ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ sent me to Yemen while I was a young man of tender age. I said, "O Messenger of God, you have sent me to a people among whom there will be disputes, and I am a young man of tender age." He said, "Indeed, God will guide your heart and keep your tongue steadfast." And I never doubted in any judgment between two parties.
