✧ The Virtues of Khadijah bt. Khuwaylid

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«مَا غِرْتُ عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ مَا غِرْتُ عَلَى خَدِيجَةَ مِنْ كَثْرَةِ ذِكْرِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لَهَا» قَالَتْ «وَتَزَوَّجَنِي بَعْدَهَا بِثَلَاثِ سِنِينَ»

Translation

✧ I was never jealous of any woman as I was jealous of Khadijah, because of how often the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned her. She said, “And he married me three years after her.”
