أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوْ أَخَذَ النَّاسُ وَادِيًا وَأَخَذَتِ الْأَنْصَارُ وَادِيًا لَأَخَذْتُ شِعْبَ الْأَنْصَارِ الْأَنْصَارُ كَرْشِي وَعَيْبَتِي وَلَوْلَا الْهِجْرَةُ لَكُنْتُ امْرَأً مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ»
Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: "By the One in whose hand is my soul, if the people took a valley and the supporters took another valley, I would take the mountain pass of the supporters. The supporters are my innermost and my trusted ones, and were it not for the emigration, I would have been a man of the supporters."
