أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
عَنْ سَعْدٍ فِي هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ {وَلَا تَطْرُدِ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ} [الأنعام 52] قَالَ «نَزَلَتْ فِي سِتَّةٍ أَنَا وَابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ فِيهِمْ فَأُنْزِلَتْ أَنِ ائْذَنْ لِهَؤُلَاءِ»

✧ From Sa'd regarding this verse: {And do not drive away those who call upon their Lord morning and evening} [al-An'am 52]. He said: "It was revealed concerning six people, and Ibn Mas'ud and I were among them. It was revealed that you should grant permission to these."
