أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ أُمَّ حَارِثَةَ أَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَقَدْ هَلَكَ حَارِثَةُ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ وَأَصَابَهُ سَهْمُ غَرْبٍ قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَوْقِعَ حَارِثَةَ مِنْ قَلْبِي فَإِنْ كَانَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ لَمْ أَبْكِ عَلَيْهِ وَإِلَّا فَسَوْفَ تَرَى مَا أَصْنَعُ فَقَالَ لَهَا «هُبِلْتِ أوَ جَنَّةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ؟ هِيَ إِنَّهَا لَجِنَانٌ كَثِيرَةٌ وَإِنَّهُ لَفِي الْفِرْدَوْسِ الْأَعْلَى»

Translation

✧ Umm Harithah came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ after Harithah had perished on the day of Badr, struck by a stray arrow. She said: 'O Messenger of Allah, you know the place Harithah holds in my heart. If he is in Paradise, I will not weep over him; otherwise, you will see what I do.' He said to her: 'Have you lost your mind? Is it only one Paradise? Verily, there are many Gardens, and he is in the highest Firdaws.'
