أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ لَمَّا انْقَضَتْ عِدَّةُ زَيْنَبَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَا زَيْدُ «مَا أَحَدٌ أَوْثَقُ فِي نَفْسِي وَلَا آمَنُ عِنْدِي مِنْكَ فَاذْكُرْهَا عَلَيَّ» فَانْطَلَقْتُ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَخْبِزُ عَجِينَهَا فَلَمَّا رَأَيْتُهَا عَظُمَتْ فِي صَدْرِي حَتَّى مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَنْ أَنْظُرَ إِلَيْهَا حِينَ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ ذَكَرَهَا فَوَلَّيْتُهَا ظَهْرِي وَقُلْتُ يَا زَيْنَبُ أَبْشِرِي أَرْسَلَنِي نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ يَذْكُرُكِ فَقَالَتْ «مَا أَنَا بِصَانِعَةٍ شَيْئًا حَتَّى أُوَامِرَ رَبِّي فَقَامَتْ إِلَى مَسْجِدِهَا وَنَزَلَ الْقُرْآنُ وَجَاءَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا بِغَيْرِ إِذْنٍ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O Zayd, no one is more trusted in my soul or safer with me than you. Mention her to me." So I set off and found her baking her dough. When I saw her, she became great in my chest until I could not look at her once I knew that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had mentioned her. I turned my back to her and said: "O Zaynab, rejoice. The Prophet of Allah ﷺ sent me to mention you." She said: "I will not do anything until I consult my Lord." She stood to her place of prayer, and the Quran was revealed, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came and entered upon her without permission.
