أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي النَّضْرِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ هَاشِمٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَاءُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْيَشْكُرِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أَبِي يَزِيدَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَخَلَ الْخَلَاءَ فَوَضَعْتُ لَهُ مَاءً فَجَاءَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «مَنْ صَنَعَ ذَا؟» قُلْتُ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ فَقِّهْهُ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ entered the privy, so I placed water for him. The Prophet ﷺ came and said: "Who did this?" I said: "Ibn Abbas." He said: "O Allah, give him understanding in religion."
